modifying the calendar

Hi,
I would like to make some modifications to the calendar, and was wondering if you could please give me some guidance:
1. I would like to take out the ‘previous’ & ‘next’ month arrows that are next to each month
2. If my last event is for example april 23, I don’t want the following days to show up (24-30). I would like the calendar to end when the last event is.
