Modifying RSS feeds or creating custom image categories

  • Hello! I am trying to pull my wordpress blog posts into my Zen Cart site using Carp Evolution to convert the default WordPress RSS feed into HTML.

    I’m encountering a problem getting the images to convert to HTML as Carp wants to interpret my images inside the <description> tag. My feed, however, posts the image within a <content:encoded> tag.

    The default feed that is generated from my WordPress site is really complicated. I’m wondering if there is a way to generate a more simple, or customized feed? Or should I add simple custom categories like <image> so that Carp will process the feed into HTML properly (including the images)?

    Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.
