• Hi, I’ve just installed my wordpress on https://www.treebeats.com. This is must be a really noob question cuz I haven’t found a basic faq/thread to cover it, but how do I modify my navigation menu? Thru dashboard I’m only able to add widgets that are on the bottom of my site but there is no option to change the “links” on my navigation bar. Do I have to actually edit some code or is there an easier method thru my dashboard?

  • I’m pretty sure you would ‘add pages’, which would become links.

It does make a page but it the navigation menu doesn’t change. Do I have to manually edit the link to relink to the page I just made?

D you have menu option (under appearance) tab? I think you can modify/adjust your pages/links here.

I made some menus there but it creates sort of a left navigation bar and the top navigation remains unchanged. Hmmm.

edit: I spotted this at the top of that menus tab.
The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the “Custom Menu” widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar.
