Modifying Kubrick Theme for New Ads

Hi all,

I need to modify the Kubrick theme for my site, evilbeetgossip.com, to accommodate a new advertiser. I need to be able to run a 300×250 ad on the sidebar and a 728×90 leaderboard ad at the top. I tried to figure out how to do it myself, but I screwed everything up and had to reload my backup files, so I figured I’d come here for help. What steps do I need to take to extend the length of my sidebar and add a space for a leaderboard on top?

I’m sure I’m not the first person to ask a question like this, so forgive me if the answer already exists on these forums. I searched for awhile and couldn’t find it.
