modifying files. why?

    ithemes security says all in one wp migration has modified 100+ files at a time when Im in bed and not even on the computer. all on the same date and time. so Im wondering, why is it doing this? I thought it was just a program that backs up my word press site. why would it alter or modify files??

    The plugin will modify files only when a backup is being restored.
    If you are not importing/restoring a backup, then no files are being modified.

    I am not sure how/what ithemes security plugin does but to my knowledge, PHP does not have a reliable way to determine if files are being modified/changed.

    You should reach to ithemes security plugin support and see if they can tell you more about it.

    thanks for the reply. I was not doing anything so I guess I’ll have to ask the ithemes people whats going on.
