Modify Url

  • Hi

    If I have a image with this name and url:
    Name: shoe
    Url: example.com/wp-uploads/2016/Shoe.jpg

    And using your plugin I change it to:
    Name: shoe2

    Will the url be changed too?
    example.com/wp-uploads/2016/Shoe2.jpg?

    It did’t work ??
    I changed to “test” but neither filename and url were changed.

    The image seems broken. If the image cannot be found, the plugin wouldn’t touch anything at all, to avoid further issues

    Well, thats why Im interested in your plugin. I have some broken images, because I migrated my wordpress site to a linux server. And these urls, have uppercase letters, for example: site.com/uploads/Picture.jpg

    So Im looking a plugin that allows me to change the url to lowercase.
    Is there a way to do it with your plugin? by any change do you know a plugin that can help me with this?

    Oh I see, it seems like some people are using my plugin to actually repair an install after a migration issue. In that case you need to force renaming in the options of the plugin, that’s a special option for that purpose, then you can try again ??
