Hello. I just found out about your plugin and was excited to try the free version although we will need the premium one to create different hours for the store and for other features. While installing it everything looks great, there are just a few issues that would like to see if we can solve them before purchasing the plugin. We have an existing menu page that is set up with “Product Table” and “Quick View” plugins and we would like to replace them with your plugin.

    1. We don’t receive an activation email (we checked spam)
    2. Can the menu items also show description beneath the tile?
    3. Can we display the store hours dynamically on top of the menu similar to WooCommerce add-on “Restaurant for WooCommerce”? (see screenshot link)

    4. Our existing menu ordering page has required options and extras for some items, that are set up as categories and they are listed on the side bar of your plugin along with the main menu categories instead showing up on the quick view window. Please see screenshot. Marked with green are the main categories that are showing correctly and with red are the options and extras I mentioned above that should be showing on the quick view window instead.

    Hello @alexgraphicd

Thank you for reaching out. We went through all the points and we feel these are some enhancements needed rather than issues. I’ll try to clarify as much as possible.

    1. Food store completely uses WooCommerce setup, it does not modify or add its own emails. It could be a result of your installation and server restriction for which you are not getting emails. Please check with general emails like forgot password or new user created.

    2. Yes, menu items will show the description beneath the title by default for single column layout, and in 2 column layout you can enable them using CSS.

    3. You can create a similar section in the editor just above the [foodstore] shortcode and apply css to modify as per the screenshot. It will come above the menu items. Food Store plugin has no sections like that.

    4. Food Store has it’s own way of adding extras/options to main food items. It does not work on how you set it up earlier. Please go through he below article in order to setup item addons.

Also, left sidebar is specifically for categories. As it is not often that people need child categories to food item categories, the left sidebar does not show any hierchy for parent and child category, it shows all category in same design.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Team WP Scripts
