This is a great plugin for book—thank you for creating it.

Is there a resource that shows the css used to display the books? Can we modify the display with custom css, and or modify the html of the output ourselves?

    Hi again Tika!

So, if you dig through the plugin files, you should find a file called ‘Assets’, then ‘CSS’, then a file called ‘frontend-library-ui.css’ – this is where the majority of the css for the front-end ‘Library’ view is found. The ‘colorbox.css’ file is where the majority of the styling for the pop-up window (the ‘Book View’) is stored.

As far as modifying the HTML… It’s dispersed throughout all the plugin files, depending on which section of the plugin you’re using/viewing… generally speaking, you can use HTML within the ‘Description’ and the ‘Notes’ sections of each individual book. Is there something specific you’re looking to do?

There are several different ways to modify the styling of WPBookList, via the StylePaks and the Stylizer extension – check out all the different options and products available for WPBookList at https://wpbooklist.com/
