Modify lightbox template

    I see that it’s possible to modify the template for simple thumbnails layout, by copying the relevant php file, putting it in your theme in nggallery subdirectory. I couldn’t find any information on modifying the template for the lightbox though. Is this possible?

    Hi @squibs,

    Theoretically, this should be possible as NextGen’s structure is modular and you should be able to add your own rewrites to \wp-content\ngg\modules\photocrati-lightbox copying over and customizing the modules from:
    nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\lightbox

    Alternately, you can simply enqueue your own lightbox ( via a plugin let’s say ) and disable NextGen’s from “Other Options -> Lightbox Effects” selecting None for “What lightbox would you like to use?”.
