modify email comment notifications?

    I’m wondering how I can modify what gets sent to me when I receive a comment on my blog that has made it through the filters. Is there a way to remove the ip address etc?

  • That email is put together via the wp_notify_post function in your wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php file. Be sure to make a copy of pluggable-functions.php before making changes. Also remember you will probably need to make changes again if you upgrade WordPress in the future.
