    Hello

I’m a perfectly happy user of your WP-download-manager plugin. Thanks for your work!

My wordpress installation is at the root www of my server.

Here are the first three items in the “Download Option Page” of your plugin:

    Download Path: /homez.33/mathprep/www/files
    Download Path URL: https://mathprepa.fr/files
    Download Page URL: https://mathprepa.fr/files

I made a copy of my “files” directory into a new “wp-content/files” subdirectory of the wordpress installation (without deleting the original, of course).

I should like to update the “Download Option Page” with theses new values:

    Download Path: /homez.33/mathprep/www/wp-content/files
    Download Path URL: https://mathprepa.fr/wp-content/files
    Download Page URL: https://mathprepa.frwp-content/files

This is because I use another plugin which makes backups of my “wp-content” directory, and I should like my “files” directory to be included in these backups.

Will it work? Is there any risk regarding the database? Will it affect the “hits” counters of the files (I hope it won’t, this is an important concern for me)?

I could have already tried, but I’m afraid of a potential mistake.

In case I encounter difficulties, will it be possible to reverse to the previous parameters?

Thanks in advance for your answer

    Hi,

Thanks for the compliments, I would suggest taking a backup of the database before you do the changes, so that if there are anything wrong, you can change it back.

You can change those values. It will not affect the hits on the files =)
