Modify Date Input on Form (not email)

  • I’m trying to modify the shortcode for manual date input.
    [date date-475]

    I’ve already tried:
    [date date-475 date-format:mm/dd/yyyy] but this does not work, and I continuously am bombarded with a validation error message. Date format required by Contact Form 7 is YYYY-MM-DD and we use date formats MM-DD-YYYY.

    Recommendation to fix this?
