Modify Customer Description

We’ve been using this code snippet on the site to change the customer description from ‘Stripe donor generated by WPGive’ to the actual customer name. It was working great until a couple of days ago. I checked the code snippet to see if it has changed, but it’s exactly the same. I’m assuming that one of the updates broke it. Is there a new code for this or a setting to change it?
