modify category selector window in edit box

  • My category names are too long for the edit box’s display and tend to be confusing when posting.

    Has anyone modified either the window size, added a scroll bar, or customized the category names as they display there (and maybe formatting – putting parent categories in bold for instance)?

  • You could try using a different admin theme (find them in the codex). I did that then slightly modified the CSS (For almost exactly the same reason as you!)

    thanx, hth. also noticed there are no horizontal scroll bars there. i guess i’ll add that piece to mosquito, or whatever it’s called.
