• I am running WP 2.7 with a wigetized theme. If I just run the default settings the sidebar displays the usual stuff, Blogroll, Categories, Meta, Search etc. But If I then go to the Widgets menu and ADD widgets to the sidebar only the widgets I add show up, as expected, however, I can no longer add the Links widget as it has no ADD button. Also the Links with Style widget has an ADD button but doesn’t seem to do anything.

I have tried calling the Links in the sidebar with a text widget but this also doesn’t work. A few people seem to have this problem on the forums but I have yet to find a solution.

    Any ideas folks?

  • Same thing happening to me. Would love some help. I feel like I need to restore something but I don’t know what.

i went back to the theme i had switched to when it all started, removed all the widgets and saved, then went back to the theme i was using and the add buttons returned.
