    Wordfence scan is show a warning for

    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/akismet/changelog.txt

    It seems to be coming up on all websites. Does anyone know what this is about?

    Hi @muaysteve,

    Sometimes this happens when the plugin developer makes a minor file change but does not revise the version number of the plugin itself. This means that Wordfence is referencing the last known www.remarpro.com repository version containing the old changelog.txt, but you now have a more recently updated file.

    I have no reason to believe that this file has been compromised, and should disappear the next time the developers update their version numbers.
