On various sites that I maintain I got a Wordfence scan warning with:

    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar.pot

Filename: /home/754530.cloudwaysapps.com/rrwfcxhshu/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar.pot File Type: Plugin Details: This file belongs to plugin “The Events Calendar” version “6.0.11” and has been modified from the file that is distributed by www.remarpro.com for this version. Please use the link to see how the file has changed. If you have modified this file yourself, you can safely ignore this warning. If you see a lot of changed files in a plugin that have been made by the author, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to force an upgrade. Doing this is a workaround for plugin authors who don’t manage their code correctly.

    Hi @midwestbroadcasting

    Thanks for reaching out.

The .pot file didn’t generate correctly and we re-released the version with a new one (no version change).

It should be fine and you can ignore the warning message.
