Modified dates no longer showing

  • Hey Sayan,

    I’ve recently updated my theme and WPLMI, and now the modified date is no longer showing on any of my posts.

    Here’s a screen shot of my “Template Tags” settings: https://prnt.sc/tyol9o

    This has happened in the past, and you’ve advised to add this code: <i class=”icon-clock” aria-hidden=”true”></i>%published_date%

    I’ve tried that again, but it doesn’t work this time.

    Also, I’ve gone to “Misc Options” and turned on this setting: https://prnt.sc/tyon5o

    Any insights to get the modified date showing again is appreciated.

    Actually this method sometimes does not work. So, I have to replace this.

    As you have enabled this settings https://prnt.sc/tyon5o, I think it has solved your problem. This option will replace all Published date with Modified Date.

    Hey Sayan,

    Ah sorry it is showing too. (Cache was preventing me from seeing it.)

    Right now it just shows the date and not the text “Last updated” before the date like it use to as shown here: https://prnt.sc/tyry6b

    I can’t see where to add that text in within the settings.

    Are you able to confirm?

    Hello @dmjhar ,

    It seems that you are using OceanWP Theme, So you can enable the Replace Meta Date Option from Post Settings. But this not supports Archibe dates right now. For archives, you can use this https://prnt.sc/tyon5o

    Hi, Not sure I understand this.

    I have some very old posts and need to have the Last Modified On show in SERPS. But since this is a news blog, I need the original published date to still appear on the blog posts themselves for readers.

    I just want to change how it appears in Google Search! What to check off for that?
