Okay, so I am very, very new to the blogging scene, and even newer to the whole “messing around with php and css code” scene. I know nothing.

I am currently using the modern clix theme on my site” https://www.jasonaburton.com/blog

The header is where my problems lies. I have the title of my blog, and then I have the tagline. Currently the tagline reads “Your tagline goes here” – I have no idea how to change that. I’ve gone into the wordpress general settings where it says “tagline” and changed that, but all that does is change the “About” area on the right sidebar. Anyone who uses this theme, can you help me out? I have a feeling I need to do some coding but I’m not sure what to do or where to start. I’ve searched through all of the php and the stylesheet for some clues but haven’t had any luck..

    Thanks for any help.

  • Edit the theme’s header.php file and look for <h2>. This will be followed by either some text or some code and then a closing </h2> tag. Can you post just that block here?

Wow. I don’t know how I didn’t see that. I have spent the last 3 hours scouring these php files for that. I must’ve looked in header.php like 10 times and I didn’t even see it! I was wondering if code was missing even, yet, there it was. Thank you so much!
