    We don’t delete posts.

It is not the general policy to delete forum posts. When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from and deleting posts removes this added value. In extreme circumstances, members of the moderation team might be persuaded to remove sensitive information that has been included in posts accidentally – but your best course of action is not to publish anything that you wouldn’t want to be public. (Remember too that other sites take archive copies of the forums, and we can do nothing to control that.)

As a newbie I was not aware. I found my post in a search engine and realized its contents was a significant business mistake. If you would please delete the title and its contents I shall never make this error again. I make this request with the utmost respect and sincerity to the community.

    It’s not a serious situation.

It’s an annoyance for you, but it’s not going to hurt your SEO ranking, nor your business. People won’t care that you asked for help on making your site.

So no. The mods aren’t going to delete your post just because you didn’t realize that posting something on the internet would get it searched.

    Hi.
I also am a newbie that made a post in error. I am respectfully asking a moderator to remove this post. There haven’t been any replies to it as yet so I don’t think anyone will miss it. Meanwhile I’m getting a lot of static at work for having done it.
Again I apologize for the mistake and it will never happen again.
    Thanks
