Moderated?

    Hi,

    Last couple of weeks (months?) I get this after every post:

    This post has been held for moderation by our automated system. It will be reviewed within 72 hours.

    Could any of the moderators tell me why? It would help to know if I did anything unwanted on this forum.

    Your account was flagged around December 2017 for two reasons:

    1. Sometimes the verbiage you used made you came across rude
    2. You disagreed with reviewers about their review

    Let’s skip over the rude verbiage because that has stopped.

    A review is a reflection of someone’s experience with a theme or plugin. Reviews are very handy for theme or plugin authors when gauging their real user needs. That’s all there is to it. Experiences are not things that can be subjected to “fair” and “unfair” criteria.

    If you were concerned about the 1 star rating, don’t be. Nobody should be looking at reviews in terms of number of stars because this isn’t a marketplace. It’s a community resource.
