Moderate Posts

    Hi I have the option available to allow anyone to register to post. Now my question is this. When new people register I have their options and roles managed through the plug in “role manager” but I would like to have their posts moderated by an administrator or designated role if possible. What can I do? Thank you for any help anybody can provide.

  • If new users are set to Contributor they cannot publish their posts.

    Owen’s Role Manager plugin allows you to set this on an individual basis as well (visit a user’s profile and scroll to the bottom to see the capabilities section; look for the Publish Posts checkbox).

    Tested it out. I unchecked “Publish Post.” Ok I was having a difficult time finding where this post ends up if they are not able to publish but then I found it under “Manage” and a link that says “Others’ Draft.” I was digging around for this and it would have been nice is this was under awaiting moderation with the comments. Is that possible? Thank you for help.
