  • Hi Jetlej, I had the same problem.
Try changing the link class to an ID, without spaces and also leaver the href=”” attribute empty – don’t put # in it. That at least solved the problem for me.

    Hi Jetlej,

Do you have a link to your site? You’ll want to make sure those class names exists on your site first. You can always make a custom menu using WordPress admin menus with the same class name.

    Hi,

are you able to have the menu item able to include # as a link?
Login seems to have a problem.. but logout is working just fine when i put # as a link on the menu item.

    Hi Zane,

I am having trouble getting the modal to fire as well. I am creating a new link within a theme template (not using an existing link with its own CSS class or ID). I’ve added the class name “.login-link” to the “Login Handle”, and “.register-link” the the “Register Handle” input in your plugin settings. I’ve tried using IDs instead of classes as @elsnare suggested, as well as including/excluding the “#” within the href.

You can view my test environment here.

All other plugins are disabled for testing.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello Zane,

I, too, am having trouble with modal. My theme supports just one menu. I created a page and then inserted the short code.

The Sign In link is being display along with other links but when I click it, it takes me to the page where I can see the form.

I presumed it should open in the modal box, right?

In the ‘CSS Classes’ of the page, I have provided ‘login-link’ whereas I could not make out whether its a class or the ID as I could not see a ‘.’ or ‘#’.

I also provided both ‘.login-link’ and ‘#login-link’ in the Login Handle of the Settings, but to my dismay, I did not work.

    Am I missing something?

I am using the latest version of WP.

    Thanks
    Keyur.
