Hi. I’ve been using this plugin with much success for a while now over at

The site uses X-Theme with the Cornerstone page builder. Recently after a Cornerstone update, the bootstrap modals stopped working.

I have snooped all over the internet and can’t find a solution – I’m hoping you can help. I have no clue when it comes to javascript, but I’ve tried following all the trouble shooting guides I can.

Basically, if I deactivate Cornerstone, the modals work again. unfortunately the whole site display breaks. I do have a ton of plugins installed though, and this is the only one that’s not cooperating with Cornerstone.

Here’s what the Console in Chrome is saying:

Probably should mention that the Modal Trigger is the “JOIN UP” button in the footer. Thanks!

Hi There,

I am not familiar with the Cornerstone plugin.

Looking at the page there is a 404 on the bootstrap javascript file – this is where the script should be…

https://www.kcequipment.com.au/wp-content/plugins/bootstrap-modals/js/bootstrap.min.js?ver=3.3.7

But that is failing in the console.

There is another one active – https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/js/bootstrap.min.js

What is odd is that if one script is active then it should still work.

Thanks for your help. Turns out the Cornerstone page builder that comes with X Theme is using a highly bastardised version of Bootstrap, and causes errors all over the place. I asked a coder friend and he said unpleasant things about it.
