mod_rewrite vs PHP to serve cache

  • I understand mod_rewrite is the fastest, is it also the one generate most static hmtl files? is it also the reason the RAM usage go up as files keep creating?

    will PHP to serve cache generate much less files = less RAM usage?

    I have 32 GB of RAM, but with 250k posts in the database.

    I’m still using your Version 1.4.9.
