Mod_rewrite messed up my list of authors

  • Okay, here’s my test-site: https://www.churchexperiment.com
    In the right-hand column, I’ve used the handy list_authors tag. However, since employing cleaner permalinks thru mod_rewrite only one of the author names is actually a link to their posts.
    Anyone got any ideas what’s going on here? I’m baffled.

  • It looks like the authors do not have some property defined, perhaps the nick name, as I see links that end in // except for the site-admin, in which case it is proper.

    It is the nickname, indeed.
    Please define a nickname for all the authors in their profile, and it should work fine.

    Well, I was guessing that – and will get in touch with the authors to check – but I’m sure it worked before.

    Nope, it’s not the nickname. All of the authors have the same set-up as site admin:
    first name: A
    last name: B
    nickname: A B
    identity on blog: A B
    I should add that neither my login, nickname or identity on blog are “site admin” yet that’s what the permalink goes to.
