• I have the following problem: we deactivated and uninstall Hummingbird and now the images, css and js are not loaded. The console shows me mod_pagespeed loading errors. I have to clear the mod_pagespeed cache from the server so that everything works again. I have already removed all traces of the plugins Hummingbird, but the error comes back every 5 or 6 hours after clearing the pagespeed cache.

Here you can see the apache log: error log
Here you can see the log of pagespeed: stats_log_global

The error does not appear when I am logged into WordPress, it is very rare.

Initially mod_expire was not active in apache, I had to activate it to be able to add the manual cache browser rules. After uninstalling the plugins and seeing that there were errors, I had to disable mod_expire again and remove the rules, but this did not work.

    Hello there @zurdor33

Attached logs don’t contain any reference to Hummingbird at all, and it can’t be affecting this as long as it’s already deactivated.

I can also see images and CSS/JS files in the associated domain, so I guess that’s already resolved by now. If not, I’d rather contacting the hosting provider about it.

    Thank you,
    Dimitris

It still hasn’t worked. I had to clean cache the pagespeed again. Cleaning the cache (cache.flush) is a temporary solution. The error reappears.

Although there is no indication that Hummingbird is responsible, this happened when installing and uninstalling the plugin. Everything was working perfectly before installing the plugin. mod_pagespeed never gave a problem before that.

    Please reconsider your answer.

    Hello @zurdor33

    I trust you’re doing well!

I apologize for the late reply. The Hummingbird plugin doesn’t affect server configuration, especially after it has been deactivated.

Hummingbird can add rules, if browser caching was enabled, to a .htaccess file, please check if there are any leftovers from the Browser caching rules. Although these rules can’t affect mod_pagespeed.

If this issue still happening on your site, please contact your hosting provider.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
