Mod Rewrite Rules in latest wp-super-cache with Network install
-
Hi,
Just a warning. If you’re in one of your sub-blogs in a WP3 network install (subdirectory), and you go to
Super Admin –> WP Super Cache
and you choose “Update Mod-Rewrite Rules”, you may mess up your whole site.
That option rewrites the mod_rewrite rules to your htaccess file. But, it seems to do it based on the sub-blog you’re in at the moment.
It’s better to go to your ROOT blog and then choose
Super Admin –> WP Super Cache
and then update the mod-rewrite rules from there.
In fact, the link to “WP Super Cache” under Super Admin should probably just link to
https://your-site.com/wp-admin/ms-admin.php?page=wpsupercache
and NOT
https://your-site.com/a-subblog/wp-admin/ms-admin.php?page=wpsupercache
maybe?
