• Hello,

It seems search engines like google are trying to view my categories with index.php on the end. Well that gives a 404 at the moment. ??

One should acess catgories via for example:

    /public_html/category/hotstream/

    404 Example:

    File does not exsist:

    /public_html/category/linux/index.php
    /public_html/category/uncategorized/index.php
    /public_html/category/home_grown/index.php
    /public_html/category/hotstream/index.php

I have no idea why the search engines assume index.php …

Anyways I’m looking for a mod rewrite rule so the search engines can still use index.php on the end of categories.

So then one can access categories using both of these:

    /public_html/category/hotstream/

    /public_html/category/hotstream/index.php

    Thanks a lot,

    Will

    Update:

Just relized I am getting 404s like this too:

    /public_html/category/windows-microsoft-news/page/1/index.ph

So I need to be able to use index.php with pages as well. Thanks!

    Bumping once.

Really need to figure this out.

Google is screwing up when crawling my site. Lots of https errors. Because its adding index.php to the end of eveything. ??

    Thanks,

    Will
