MobileMe host ?

  • Hi There!

    I really trying to install this but, I’m not sure how to obtain my data base name, out of my host. No even sure if Mobile Me (apple) is OK to host wordpress?

    I download wordpress and used the wp configuration sample’s file, but it gave me and error that said. all ready installed. If so where to go next?

    I don’t think I feel properly all the info in the new file that created as asked (wp-configur.php)

    Also do I need to have MySQL install? If so.
    What exactly. MYSQL 5.1 ?

    Sorry for all the questions, I just trying to build up a professional website, as I only being using Iweb before.

    From what I gather, MobileMe would not be able to host WordPress as it doesn’t support PHP.

    Also do I need to have MySQL install?

    Yes. WordPress requires both PHP and MySQL to work.

    MySQL is a database software and language.

    The config file should be named wp-config.php and NOT wp-configur.php
