    Hi,
i’ve started a new landing page. I am happy with the font sizes and proportions on laptop view, and also it seems to be okay for a tablet. But I need a different font size (much smaller) for the mobile view,.. how can I do that?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi @stefanmoenk020992

Actually, core blocks have very limited styling options. Even, there is no option for responsive. That’s why we create Gutenverse blocks.

On the Gutenverse blocks, there are responsive settings. For example, the Gutenverse heading has a responsive (desktop, tablet, and mobile) size for the typography.

So, if you need responsive font size, I suggest you use Gutenverse blocks. You can add it through the blocks panel.

    Hello @stefanmoenk020992

That is because it’s using a core block.
As previously mentioned by Pradnya, core blocks have very limited styling options.
To know the differences between core blocks and gutenverse blocks, please check these screenshots :
    core blocks : https://ibb.co/n7LkGqC
    gutenverse blocks : https://ibb.co/PcLfvcN

If you’re confused on why the templates uses core blocks instead of gutenverse blocks (after you install gutenverse). There are two possible causes :
    1. You used core blocks instead of gutenverse blocks, you can resolve this by changing to gutenverse blocks.
    2. You previously have saved changes before you install gutenverse plugin.
The way our theme works is like this :
    – If you don’t have gutenverse installed, it will load default templates which uses core blocks.
    – If you have gutenverse installed, it will load the gutenverse templates which uses gutenverse blocks. However, if you have saved changes previously from default templates, it will load the saved changes.

If you have saved changes previously, you can start changing from core blocks to gutenverse blocks. OR reset the template but reseting will delete your saved changes.

If you still have any question, please let us know.

    Thank you.

Thanks so much for the explanation. Got it. But,.. I didn’t get how to switch between the different blocks.
I did not find any option in the plugin setting. I have no “page” or “post” I could change. Furthermore, I couldn’t find anything page customizing.

    Thanks ??

    Hello @stefanmoenk020992

You cannot convert the blocks automatically from core to gutenverse.
However you can redesign it, for example if you previously use core heading block, you need to add gutenverse heading block and replicate the content you did in core heading block.
But this could be troublesome if you have so many blocks to convert manually, so I think it’s better to reset the template (but keep gutenverse plugin activated), that way the gutenverse template will be loaded and you just need to change the content. (If you prefer to reset, I recommend to do backup first, in case if you changed your mind and want to return to your previous template).

Regarding page and post, block theme usually doesn’t include any page or post.
Block theme provides templates which you already know can be accessed through Appearance->Editor and mostly you will do all the design there.
Page will automatically use template called Page, and Post will automatically use template called Single Post.
So if you need to re-design your page and post, you need to edit those template I mentioned.
In Block theme, Dashboard->Pages and Dashboard->Posts now are just a place to create content. You can still technically design a layout there, but the overall design used will be from the templates.

If you still have any question, please let us know.

    Thank you.

I’ve checked your site and it used gutenverse block.
Have you checked on the heading element?
In the style panel, there will a typography option, you can click on the pencil icon and it will open a typography panel where you can change the font size.
Then you can click on the device icon, click on other device you need to change the font size.
