    Hi,

I just encountered the mobile monthly view seems unable to work with deferring javascript. I use Perfmatters to defer javascript (speed tests seem to insist this be on) but with the feature on – mobile monthly view is no longer clickable and seems to stay that way.

Any way this will be compatible in the future?

    Thanks,

    Nancy

    Hi Nancy,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I’m not well versed with Perfmatters, but if you could do exceptions with it, I recommend adding The Events Calendar plugin’s CSS and JavaScript resources into its exceptions (or ignore) list (see Caching Basics).

    Hi,

Sorry I only posted last Saturday and haven’t been able to get on until now on Monday.

I did have to add the page to exceptions for deferring javascript since it seems incompatible. Perfmatters is fairly popular plugin for speeding up websites.

At present, it doesn’t look like The Events Calendar monthly mobile view is compatible with deferring javascript.

    Hi @nseeger

Could you try to disable Perfmatters, and see if that makes a difference? If it does, please try to enable it again and exclude our plugins’ CSS, and check if that resolves the issue.

    /plugins/the-events-calendar/

If it doesn’t help, please provide the URL of your calendar so we can check it further on our side.

Let me know how it goes.
