    Hi,

You need to get rid of the option that your site switches to “Mobile Site”, because your theme is responsive itself which means that it will adapt to dimensions of any device. See for yourself below:

This how your site looks like with “Mobile Site” version:

As you said – it has some problems with the layout.

This is how your site looks like with full version (which is responsive):
    https://i.imgur.com/G9smJI6.jpg – nice and pretty.

If I were you I would just use one version and get rid of this “Mobile Site” option:
    – Go To your Jetpack section in Admin panel
    – Turn off the mobile site option

    Hello there,

I need help on how to transform my website into a mobile responsive site.
Here is the site link: https://www.bitonechildrencenter.org/ . It appears that on the mobile devices, it looks funny and doesn’t fit content perfectly.

I will appreciate you advice and guidance on this.

    Thanks

    Hi Branco,

You cannot simply make your theme responsive – it needs to be built that way or quite heavily modified. Try turning on Jetpack’s mobile site option and see how it looks.

    Thanks Janis.

And still I am new to this, I am failing to locate the “Jetpack’s mobile site option”. Sorry for bothering you.

Janis I was wondering do you happen to also know how to change the url links in my website so instead of appearing like this https://www.cheffavours.com.au/?page_id=40

    They say https://www.cheffavours.com.au/ourproducts

I would really appreciate any help on this as I am struggling to find it.

    Thank you again.

@kirtnjay – you can change the admin panel -> Settings -> Permalinks and here you can set default format for your links. Also, you can edit links when you create a new post (it is right underneath the title field).

@sekalegga – you need to get Jetpack plugin, then authorize it with your wordpress.com account, and you will see an option “Mobile Site” which will let you enable/disable it.

Hi, trying to make my mobile menu with the Make theme appear with no success. I’ve tried adding the ShoftNav plug in but still not opening. Any ideas? My site is currently https://www.snowbadgers.co.uk/snowbadgers_wp/

Hello matgallagher – we believe this is a bug in our theme. Unfortunately it’s proving quite tricky to troubleshoot as it’s not happening with any kind of consistency. We have a ticket opened for it and will let you know when we have an answer for you.

    Terribly sorry for the inconvenience.

@matgallagher have you modified the theme files at all? What I’m seeing on your site is that the page code stops loading after the closing main tag. The script that makes the Mobile Menu function loads after this, so it isn’t able to initialize.

If you haven’t modified the theme code, I would look to your plugins. Try temporarily disabling them to see if that makes a difference.

Only thing modified is the footer, which I guess shouldn’t affect it. Will try disabling plug-ins…

If it’s any help to other users – it didn’t seem to be any of the plug-ins having disabled all. I reinstalled the theme and then activated each individually and it now works perfectly.

    Thanks for the help.
