  • @karlykaz,

    Can you give me the user agent of the browser you are using? Also, can you tell me if you have any caching plugins installed?

    Thank you.

    I am also having this same issue as well.

    It happens from all desktop browsers, I’ve tested it with three or four different computers and diffent browsers on each.

    I *do* have a caching plugin installed, it is W3 Total Cache.

    @dcolanduno,

    Can you clear the cache from W3 Total Cache and let me know if the behavior still persists?

    We are working on integrating with the caching plugins to prevent these interactions and releasing a new version of WordPress Mobile Pack.

    Ok, I tried purged the cache plugin, and even the CDN but alas, no joy.

    @dcolanduno,

    Can you give me the url of your website so I can check it? If you want, you can contact me at florentina[at]appticles.com and send it to me privately.

    My website is https://www.karlykazanjian.com. I don’t have any cache plugins installed.

    Weird, it loads on Google Chrome, but not on Safari on my computer. I have a Mac.

    @karlykaz,

    I tested your website and it loads correctly. Can you give me the user agent of the browser that loads the application? If you do not know how to get it, contact me by e-mail and I will explain how.

    Okay, I will email you. It’s so strange because on my Mac through Safari, it loads the mobile version. And then on my iPhone on Safari, it loads the desktop version.

    I am having this issue with my website as well. The mobile version is loading on my desktop using firefox. I have also found the mobile version seems to intermittently not be working on mobile devices. Any advice please?

    I’m having this issue too. It works fine for me on my Macbook Pro, but for my colleague the mobile site loads on his iMac when it shouldn’t. We’re both running Safari. We didn’t used to have this problem before and we’ve used WP Mobile Pack for a while, it’s just randomly started happening. I did update the WordPress theme recently to a Cherry Framework one though.

    Just to confirm, do you have a cache plugin installed and did you make the required changes for it? https://support.appticles.com/hc/en-us/articles/201795202-Optimizing-Cache-Plugins-for-Wordpress-Mobile-Pack

    Could be related to the new theme as well.

    I’m not aware of any cache plugins – we certainly don’t have any of the ones listed on that page and none with cache in the name. What other type of plugins might cache that I might not be aware of?

    Sorry for the delay. I don’t know why I didn’t get a notification from WordPress when you posted your message, I always opt-in for ‘Notify me of follow-up posts via email’.

    It doesn’t look like the problem on your website is related to a cache plugin since you don’t have any plugin with ‘cache’ in the name. The first thing I would look at are the latest changes you have done on your website. It might be related to the new Cherry Framework theme if the mobile detection started acting up after you installed it.

    It’s also a good idea to take a look at your error_log file (you have to connect with a FTP account to see if such a file exists on your server). Each error from the log file will also specify what is the plugin or theme that is causing it. Since all plugins run on the same base, they can affect each other through these errors.
