This is not a bug, it’s how it works on mobile.

Narrow screens don’t allow a folding fan as you can have it on the desktop version. They don’t give enough space. There is also not enough space to move the card enough to the right (or to the left) before the rotation.
The only way on narrow screens is to make fade out the cards that you don’t choose and rotate the chosen one.
Maybe because it’s not a folding fan you have the impression it is always the first card, but it isn’t.

The card that is taken is not the first one, it’s random. As you can see It’s not always the same card that you see after the rotation.

I suggest you ask an opinion to your friends about the impression they have when they chose a card on a mobile device.

For me it’s difficult to imagine a way to do it better with so little space., but if you have some suggestions to improve the impression that is given on mobile, if it’s something that we can implement, we will be very happy to improve the plugin.
