    Hi,

I’ve test the theme in a Nexus 4 and the theme doesn’t seem to be responsive but I’ve tested in a ipad retina and it worked well. :S

  • Could you upload a screenshot of what you see in the Nexus 4 to help in troubleshooting?

Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library, and provide a link so I can see it, or upload it with a service like Droplr or Imgur.

What browser and version were you using in the Nexus 4?

I’ve had problematic feedback as well when viewing the theme on a mobile:

“One bit of technical feedback is that on my phone there is a green bar appearing half way on the screen which makes reading difficult. It is your menu bar. It appears when the article reads in Facebook and Safari. It is rather distracting.”

Sorry, I cannot give you a screenshot since this was feedback from a colleague.

Sorry, but I forgot to give you the link to my blog: https://alwayswellwithin.com

I’ve checked this out and it’s true on the mobile version that the menu bar stretches the width of the text, on top of the text of your blog post, which makes it difficult to see.

I’ve also now had the toggle jump up a few inches almost to the title bar.

    Hi Kathryn,

I’ve made some changes in blog theme section and the problem has disappear.I will test it in others devices.

I’ve have my blog hosted on https://www.uninstantedeluz.com

drmdrm – glad it’s OK now.

SandraP – would you mind please starting a new, separate, thread for your issue? Troubleshooting will be easier in your own thread. Let us know there:

    – what type of phone (make and model)
    – what browser and version
    – please provide a screenshot

I’ve just tested the theme for the coming Google mobile update and it said the site isn’t mobile friendly.

Links are too close together and text is too wide for mobile phone. If this isn’t resolved until the next update (beginning of April 2015 if I read correctly), then the sites with Syntax theme will lose their ranking in Google for mobile users.

Is there any chance you could make it more mobile friendly until somewhere in the beginning of April?

    Thank you!

BioB – could you please start a separate thread for this new issue and provide the exact wording from Google when you do. Thanks.

Sorry, I checked again. Looks like there was an error before.

Now it says: “Awesome! This page is mobile-friendly.”

    Good work!

By the way, I love this theme.

BioB – OK, I’m glad the issue went away and that you like the theme! If you need anything else, feel free to start a new thread.
