    Hi there. The theme I am using has the class mobile-trigger in it’s code. This conflicts with the styling of the calendar in your plugin as both contain the class mobile-trigger.

    I feel it is better to modify your plugin and not my theme, but I am not sure where to find this code in the plugin files. It is located in a <td> and can be seen in the code snippet i pasted below. Can you direct me to where it is? Thanks.
    (also possibly a suggestion for next update? Change the class to something like tribe-mobile-trigger?)

    <td class="tribe-events-thismonth tribe-events-past mobile-trigger tribe-event-day-07" data-day="2016-11-07" data-tribejson="{"i18n":{"find_out_more":"Find out more \u00bb","for_date":"Events for"},"date_name":"November 29"}">

  • Hey Erniee,

    Thanks for reaching out, happy to help here! ?? This seems to be a styling issue, possibly a theme conflict.

    1. I’d recommend first trying some of the other options under “Events<Settings<Display<Default stylesheet used for events templates.” See if one of the other settings solves your problem. (This is the easy fix.)

    2. If that doesn’t help, check out our Themers Guide & customization doc for help with modifying our plugin.

    Let me know how that goes, and we’ll work on it from there!

    Cheers,
    Shelby ??

    Thank you for the reply. Yes, this is the problem – a styling conflict and sadly just changing the style sheet option doesn’t fix the issue.

    Both your Plugin and my Theme use the class “mobile-trigger”. Unfortunately, my Theme has set an absolute position on the class mobile-trigger, which in turn breaks the calendar layout of your Plugin.

    My only solution is to change the name of the class to something different in either your Plugin or my Theme.

    There is also a Javascript conflict in that when it is on mobile view and I click a calendar event, the theme menu opens not the event. A possible plugin update recommendation would be to change the class “mobile-trigger” to something like “events-mobile-trigger” as there must be others out there that experience the same conflict.

    Hey Erniee,

    This kind of request would require some customization. We have some resources for doing that here. If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks,

    Shelby
