Mobile Theme stopped working with 5.4 update

  • After updating to wordpress 5.4 my mobile theme doesn’t work anymore.
    When I go to the worpress customizer on my computer and select mobile view, I can see the mobile theme as usual. On my mobile devices, I only see the desktop version of my site.
    I tried 3 different browsers (Google, Firefox and Brave), it’s all the same. I tried to “enable desktop view” and disable again… Nothing changes.

    I’m not a developer but good enough to adapt code, if I get good instructions ??
    I assume my theme (which won’t be updated anymore) needs some update on its mobile/responsive design. Could you give me any hints on how to fix this issue, without using plugins, I want to use my existing mobile theme?

    Did you already fix it ? Or are you just talking about the menu ?

    I see support stopped on April 9th. So really you should be investigating other themes anyway as you don’t want to get into a situation where this is no longer secure.

    Did you already disable the Menu Icons and JetPack plugins ?

    To me, there is nothing obvious after a quick scane, but you could ask the Author:

    It is not solved yet.
    It is not only the menu.
    We can see the website but mobile theme has completely gone, it displays the desktop site on mobile devices. Google also tells me my web is not mobile friendly.
    I guess there is something about the wp update that breaks the original code. Is there no public information how the code has modified, so i can adjust mine?

    I did deactivate plugins and it didn’t help
