    Hi

Overall, plugin works great, except for the following:

    SETUP
    default lang = english
    target lang = chinese

    CONFIG
    WP VERSION 5.2.4
    THEME JUPITER X 1.11.0
    PAGE BUILDER ELEMENTOR 2.7.5 | PRO 2.7.3
    LAYER SLIDER LS 6.9.2

    PAGE CONFIG
Each page has 2 sliders, one for desktop (and tablet) and one for mobile.
Both sliders have the same text (see troubleshooting below) – just formatted differently.

    ISSUE
The sliders render fine for desktop, but they’re not working on mobile.
    – works fine on desktop when I resize to mobile form factor.
    – All other (non-slider) content seems to render OK on mobile.

    TROUBLESHOOTING
    – I tweaked the text for the mobile slider to force Translate Press to create a separate entry for the mobile slider text. This doesn’t seem to help.

    Thx!

    TROUBLESHOOTING – UPDATE
    – Fix missing dynamic content = TRUE (no change)
    – Tested mobile browsers Firefox, Chrome, Brave (no change)

In all cases on mobile, still rendering English even though Chinese is the selected language…

    UPDATE
    – The fix missing dynamic content flag eventually kicked in – now it’s working! IDK, maybe a cache issue?

Anyway, if anyone else is having a problem translating sliders (e.g. Layer Slider), go to advanced tab in Translate Press and set fix missing dynamic content = TRUE.

And now it’s not! This is really baffling…
    – I set fix missing dynamic content = TRUE
    – it worked
    – I added new translations
    – and now it’s not working again

“not working” = just displays in original English

    Hello,

    Have you solved the problem?

    Best regards,

I did in fact figure out what was causing the issue – for anyone else using Layer Slider and TranslatePress:

–> you have to disable Layer Slider’s caching, otherwise it maintains the source language in cache and will always return that string value to Translate Press.

    Thanks!
