mobile site without plugins

Hey all,
I’m currently working on a site that I want to make available for the iPhone without the use of plugins. I pretty much have the subdomain, and have the site good to go on a /mobile folder. I also have the css set up. My question is, is there any way I could redirect the loops from the /mobile folder to include the posts. I wanted to avoid plugins because I wanted to stylize the mobile site myself. Hope that made sense. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
