• I always get great help here, so I thought I’d try again…

I have a full site and a mobile site. I have it setup to automatically detect mobile users and send them to mobile site. And I have a link at the bottom of mobile site for mobile users who may wish to view full site.

Problem is, the redirect sends them on an endless loop… and will not allow mobile users to view full site. How can I work around this? Session IDs or something to allow mobile users who visited the mobile site to bypass the redirect and see the full site?

    Mobile site is m.mydomain.com
Full site is mydomain.com in case this matters

    Thank you!!! ??

Richard, thank you but I still could not find any answers. I did find something by Googling, that I thought would work (https://www.squidoo.com/php-mobile-redirect), but it did not work in either my index.php or header.php file.

So, after many many hours, headaches and one very frustrated customer, I am still no where. I have no idea how to get mobile users to view the desktop site, where the redirect doesn’t keep pointing them back to the mobile site. Anyone ??!

Nevermind, I found a plugin that worked!!! MobileESP worked perfectly. I downloaded it, installed on my desktop site to redirect to mobile site (works!) and then they gave me the info I had been looking for on their FAQ page (yeah!):

Added this to Switch to Full site link: /?view_full_site=true

    Worked like a charm!!
