Mobile Screen White Screen Overlay

Hello. First of all thank you an amazing plugin, however I have na issue that I really want to solve, and tried different ways. When I set search icon for mobile header, and click on it, it get white overlay for a whole screen, and you cannot see anything with it. I currently set it in the mobile menu as a search bar, but really want to have it as a icon in the header like it suppose to be. Is there any work around it?
