Mobile redirection and permalinks

Hi,
I have a plugin installed on my e-commerce, which redirects mobile users to the dedicated mobile homepage (the plugin is called Equivalent Mobile Redirects). However, recently it seems it stopped doing its job and occasionally when I load the page from mobile, it gets me the desktop homepage.
The only thing that brings everything back to normal it to save the permalinks again and flush the caches.

Is it a plugin problem?
Do you have any suggestions about the best way to redirect to mobile pages?
