By coincidence I just saw this on BB fb. Interested in yours because of a problem I’m having with UABB modal popup where I can’t get a popup that looks good on both desktop and mobile and tried using Themer to make 1 for each but the one for mobile conflicts with my mobile-only themer header. Does yours allow for selecting mobile only? Thanks.

Hi @wondering2 – thanks for your message.

When you say ‘selecting’ mobile only, do you mean enabling a popup only for mobile, and disabling for other screen sizes?

If so, that is on the list of features I plan on adding, but not currently available. It should appear in the next few weeks.

Thanks. What ways are available to close the popup? Can you place a close X icon where you want it? I have an issue with UABB’s modal on mobile where the X hangs half off the screen.

In the latest version, you can add a close button to the top right of the screen or the top right of the popup (and then make adjustments using a number field to position it where you need).

That said, I think there could be some improvements based on an idea you gave me of being able to control the position differently on mob/tab/desktop. I’ll add to the list ??

Well, I tried to play with it but after I created a test popup I clicked popup manager and got “Error loading available popups” (on both firefox and chrome).

Hmmm – I don’t suppose I’d be able to log in and investigate? I’m not sure if there’s a way to send a private message here on the forum – if not, I will send you my email address.

    Thanks

For anyone else reading this, the issue is caused by permalinks being set to ‘plain’, which scuppers the API for the popup manager.

As it’s impossible to make this work, I’ll be updating my documentation/readme to reflect this in case someone else has this issue down the line.

A bad assumption on my part! ??
