Mobile Phone Options

  • Greetings!

    First, thanks for such a great plug-in. We’re enjoying it.

    Question: In a previous version of this plug-in, we had mobile phone options. Specifically, we could set our related posts to appear as text links on the mobile phone, while the desktop version we could set our related posts to appear with featured thumbnails.

    After processing the last automatic update to this plugin, we no longer have that option. It’s either thumbnails on both mobile/desktop or text links on both mobile/desk.

    Is this a glitch, or did you intentionally remove this feature? If the latter, is it possible to access an older copy of the plugin? We liked that feature a lot!

  • Hey JD, thanks for reaching out & for your nice words, we really appreciate it! ??

    As for your inquiry?—?we intentionally removed those Mobile options, since they caused our users more trouble than any actual solutions. We now made them responsive, which means that they fit accordingly to the users mobile device.

    But there are two solutions to this problem?— one is to write your own CSS code, which will be able to hide thumbnails on mobile devices (here’s some help, if you attempt this feat),

    or

    you can switch to the older version of our plugin, which can be found under the ‘Developers’ tab of our plugin page — or just click here.
