Mobile pagination on pages with lots of subpages

    I have some posts divided up into subpages (using the page break). Some have many subpages. The list of subpages is shown under the post entry on the blog posts page, the search results and on the post itself. On mobile, if you have more than 9 pages it breaks the layout of the page numbers.

    I can fix it on the blog posts and search pages with CSS by removing it entirely but I obviously can’t do this on the post itself. I fixed it temporarily by making some subpages longer so that there aren’t so many of them. But I will need to add more in the future to these pages.

    Hi Danamv, I had to fix the issue by reducing the number of subpages so you can’t actually see it happening on the site at the moment, was the screenshot no use?

    Yes, the issue is visible in the screenshot, however, I’m also not exactly sure how are you using pages divided into subpages so it would be interesting to look to be sure we’re on the same page.

    I may well be using it wrongly because I’m new to the block method, it’s ages since I used WordPress.
    Remember that you can’t see the issue in the screenshot on this page though because I reduced the number of pages so that the issue wouldn’t occur (as my users were pointing it out to me!). But this page will get longer over time, so it’d be great if it were fixed.
