    Hey there,

Trying to understand whether I can use the AMP plug in to optimize the mobile version of our site, while keeping the design as currently runs on the desktop version.

Currently there are 16 plugin incompatibilities with AMP, 3 out of which (Elementor, Elementor Pro and Hummingbird) have a total of 127 validation errors according to AMP. As these are the cornerstone of our website, would like to get an idea on whether ‘AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages’ wouldn’t be a better plugin to help us with the mobile version of our website.

If AMP, and not AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages, is still the recommended AMP plugin for increasing mobile performance, I would also like to understand how I can edit the menu displayed on the AMP version of our website.

This is the support UUID for our website: ampwp-1ed5f4a3-445f-5fbd-a1d1-0d5c0d17e08e

    Cheers in advance,
    Mihai

    Hello @nutrifix

    Thank you for contacting us,

The choice of the plugin should be made based on your requirements and the features provided by each plugin, but remember to use (activate) only one AMP plugin on your site as plugins might conflict.

If you have plugins that are not compatible we will recommend following

    1) Contact the respective plugin author and ask them to make their plugin AMP compatible

    2) Look for the alternate plugin from our site’s ecosystem page.

    3) Look for a mini plugin or extension that can fix the issues with third-party plugin compatibility.

Since you are using Elelemntor I will recommend using AMP Enhancer plugin which will fix some incompatibilities in Elementor.

    I hope this helps!
