• I am using the Cubic theme, but thought I would like to try the parent, Boardwalk. I like the way it looks on the computer, but on the mobile the home/gallery page shrinks down and only shows tiny images at the top of the page. Even the header image is tiny. The blog pages view correctly, and the header is full size.

Can you provide a link to the page you’re referring to so I can take a look on a small screen?

I just noticed the same problem on my site. The front pages uses latest posts as the home page and the images are chopped horizontally. It’s not legible. Here’s the link. The other pages are OK. https://specialcommunications.com/
    thanks!!!

webpdq – Boardwalk does re-orient and crop featured images on small screens – you can see how it works on the demo: https://boardwalkdemo.wordpress.com/

Thanks. I do see that but on your demo but on our site, it looks really bad. Did you look at the url above? What can be done to make it look better. The way it displays right now is unacceptable. Is there a plugin that you might recommend? Or do you have any other recommendations?

Yes, I did have a look at your site. You might want to consider choosing images that are more adaptable to different orientations and cropping. Images with people in them are probably the least flexible. ??

Hello there, I’m using boardwalk theme and it is perfectly shown on desktop…but on mobile, i have the same vertical setting, otherwise in the demo i can see the mobile theme should be horizontal…

    How can i fix it?

    Thanks!

Valeria – in your new thread, please provide a link to your site so we can take a look directly. As an initial troubleshooting step, you could try temporarily deactivating all your plugins. Does the problem persist? If the problem is gone, reactivate your plugins one-by-one, testing the site in between each, to find the conflict.
