Hello, I have Foo Gallery running on multiple sites. When I am using a mobile device with a width of 360 or less the right next arrow goes greyed out. It was a little misleading as I thought the arrow did not work, but it does. It just does not come out of the hover or greyed out state on the smaller devices. You can see this by using Chome’s Dev Tools and looking at the gallery using a Blackberry Z30. Is there an upgrade that might fix this so minor detail? Thanks so much. -Beth

  • Hi @elizabeth-abernathy,

Thanks for noting this. I’m going to ask @steveush to have a look and respond as our front-end expert.

Note that it may take Steve a few days or more to respond as undersea internet cables to his location have been cut so getting internet access has been proving difficult the last few days.

    Hi @elizabeth-abernathy,

Apologies for the delay – Steve is still unable to access internet due to ongoing cable repairs so it may be a few more days before he can reply.

@steveush – reminder to review this issue please.

    Hi @elizabeth-abernathy

This is due to mobile devices simulating hover by making it sticky on the element. I have been working on another plugin and there I’ve been able to work around this simulated sticky hover on mobile devices by using the now quite well supported CSS media feature hover.

I’ll be looking to roll this back into FooBox, resolving this issue in a future update.

    Thanks
    Steve
