Mobile Navigation Menu not working with PDF Embedder Enabled

    Hi,

    Everything on my site is fully updated, wordpress, themes and plugins etc. The navigation menu works fine on desktop but shows the hamburger icon on mobile and will not open when pressed.

    I have disabled all plugins and found that with PDF Embedder enabled the menu does not work, but with the plugin disabled it works fine.

    My WordPress is version 6.6.1, is your plugin compatible?

    Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry about the inconvenience.

    Do you have a staging/test site where the PDF Embedder isn’t active so we can replicate the issue and contrast it with when the plugin is active?

    Also, please ensure that you are using PDF Embedder version 4.8.2 on your site.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. I have setup a staging site on the ‘staging’ subdomain of the site. PDF Embedder is version 4.8.2. The staging site has PDF embedder disabled and you’ll see the menu now works ok – this is the only difference between live and staging.

    Thank you for the report!

    It does look like there is a bug in the way PDF Embedder JS is embedded on a page. This breaks the way WordPress embeds the Interactivity API JS library used in the Navigation block.

    I’m not sure whether this is WP 6.6 specific issue or whether it’s applicable to WP 6.5 as well (when Interactivity API was bundled in WP). We will take a look and will try to fix the issue in the next plugin release.
